Every jacket is one of a kind
Every jacket has a one of a kind design created especially for it’s wearer. The beauty of this is we can include those extra special personal touches, a special flower, a certain colour, a special nod to an in joke or a special someone. We can incorporate details to make your jacket uniquely you.
The one in the photo featured little fish jumping from the flowers as a little nod to the grooms love of fishing.
When to order?
As soon as possible is the short answer…
Painting jackets isn’t exactly a quick process, and I like to allow plenty of time for everyones peace of mind.
I advise to order with at least 3 months to go until the jacket is needed.
But be warned my order books do fill up well in advance!
If you’ve left it a little late and we have less than 3 months, get in touch anyway! You never know what could be possible!
The process…
Once you have placed your order I will get in touch by email to discuss your personalisation. Please feel free to send me any images or inspiration. The more infomation you give me the better I can tailor it to you.
I will provide you with my postal address for you to send your jacket to me. The jacket can be new - old - or second hand. Leather or faux leather, and any colour!
I would recommend going with something in a good condition though as the better the canvas I have to work with the better finish I can get on the painting.
If you would like any guidence on finding a jacket just ask!
Once I have your jacket I will create for you a digital mock up. This will help us finalise a layout and design. I offer 3 free revisions included in the price.
Once finalised and given the go ahead the painting will start!
I like to block out around three weeks to work on a jacket.
This gives me plenty of time to allow drying between prep, painting layers, and the final protective finishing coat.
I can send you photo updates upon request - I don’t do this automatically as I know more often than not people want their jacket to be a surprise when they open the box.
Once completed your jacket will be gift wrapped, and dispatched. I will send you an email to let you know when it is on it’s way with it’s tracking number.
All jackets are sent out next day special delivery.
